2-Carat Cup This mug/cup is so wonderful start to finish that we can hardly stand it. First, it comes in a beautiful presentation box that resembles a jewelry box--you flip the top open and what you see is a ring (either Gold or Platinum color, your choice), with a big old rhinestone in the middle. Then when you lift the ring up, the cup reveals itself, and when you hold it to drink something, it sits around your finger (quite comfortably we might add) so it looks like you're wearing a big ring. It's fun and funny and the design and presentation really can't be beat--another great multi-occasion gift--you'll want one for yourself too.

Anubis Jewelry Box Anubis was the god to protect the dead and bring them to the afterlife. But that was then. Now, he's the protector of small, precious treasures. You know--jewelry box, change collector, for us--the keeper of the smashed penny collection. And even though Anubis is supposed to be a jackal, we think there's a little chihuahua in this one. Anyhow, at the base, the box measures 6" x 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" tall, the top part is 5" tall (to the tip of the ears). It's molded of some sort of plastic/composite material and painted rich gold. Comes boxed and with a piece of soft cloth you can use to line the inside.

Best Purse Hook Ever It's the best we've ever tried--simple, sturdy--built to hold today's ginormous purses. A fantastically useful gift! We got our first purse hook about thirty years ago (no lie) from mom who got it from Japan. It was dainty and frilly and we always used it. Then we lost it. Now purse hooks are a bit more out there and we needed a new one--this fit our utilitarian, not-so-fancy aesthetic perfectly. Silver finish, folds flat, comes with a carry case. Coming in at around 4-1/4" long, it will hold a heavy bag. Also, the hanger part pivots enough to allow the hanger to hold your bag off a table or ledge with not much clearance underneath. These things, while I see them in gift shops, are still little-seen in everyday use--I get comments constantly on mine. You will too.

Chicken Boy Treasure Box Ceramic figurine (low-rent Limoges) shows Chicken Boy standing atop a base similar to the Statue of Liberty's (cause, you know, he IS the Statue of Liberty of Los Angeles). Then there is the surprise inside the base--it's a tiny accordion (cause Chicken Boy plays one). The total height is 5" and the base is 1-1/2" square. The box features some True Facts about Mr Boy. Cranky Windup Toy So you wind it up and it comes to life! Wiggles and wobbles like a dancing drunk sailor.
