Simple, sturdy--small but mighty--built to hold today's ginormous purses. A fantastically useful gift! We got our first purse hook about thirty years ago (no lie) from mom who got it from Japan. It was dainty and frilly and we always used it. Then we lost it. Now purse hooks are a bit more out there and we needed a new one--this fit our utilitarian, not-so-fancy aesthetic perfectly. Silver finish, folds flat, comes with a drawstring carry bag. Coming in at around 4-1/4" long, it will hold a heavy bag. Also, the hanger part pivots enough to allow the hanger to hold your bag off a table or ledge with not much clearance underneath. These things, while I see them in gift shops, are still little-seen in everyday use--I get comments constantly on mine.
