The 7" x 9-1/2" screenprint and haiku, “you and me and all beings of earth we are cousins,” is, of course, an homage/appropriation to Leonardo (da Vinci, not Di Caprio), and also refers to the inter-connectness of all humans. As an animal lover, I also include critters. Some schools of thought believe that there are fewer than six degrees of separation between us all. Whether or not that’s true, it would be wonderful if we could all understand that we are all more similar than different. We all love our families, our traditions, and our homes. If we lived as though everyone was kin, things might be more copacetic (i.e., no war). Chicken Boy is doing his best to spread this idea through art.
