Anubis was the god to protect the dead and bring them to the afterlife. But that was then. Now, he's the protector of small, precious treasures. You know--jewelry box, change collector, for us--the keeper of the smashed penny collection. And even though Anubis is supposed to be a jackal, we think there's a little chihuahua in this one. Anyhow, at the base, the box measures 6" x 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" tall, the top part is 5" tall (to the tip of the ears). It's molded of some sort of plastic/composite material and painted rich gold. Comes boxed and with a piece of soft cloth you can use to line the inside.
