This pen has a secret--there is a thin metal strip that you can pull out (Venetian blind style) to reveal a photo of Chicken Boy on his original roost. Then on the back are a few true facts about Mr. Boy. We received a package addressed to the insurance company that occupied our offices around ten years ago, so we figured it was okay to open it. Inside were samples of this type of pen (which we had never seen before) that they were selling to insurance companies (it presented “interesting” insurance facts). But we saw beyond the banal to the potential of such a pen and called our friend Kevin who sourced these for us. Another exclusive and fun item with a nice surprise! (We've gifted these to several people without telling them about the secret; some discovered it right away, others took weeks, even months before they figured it out.) The pull-out part is around 7" long.
